City taking shape as deals for duo progress

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman says he has a fair idea of what his preferred XI will be at the start of the season as he looks to complete deals for Clinton Morrison and Stephen Wright.

'I certainly feel we are making moves forward,' he told The Coventry Telegraph from the club's pre-season tour of Switzerland.

Pushing through a deal for Wright in particular looks a sensible move. The Sky Blues struggled all last season for a natural right-back and were forced too often to play with square pegs in round holes.

Given a bit of money Coleman can build a good attacking side. Fulham did well under him for a while.
