Coventry City transfer talk - Week 9

A slightly frustrating week in the transfer market for the Sky Blues saw them linked with a number of players but unable as yet to close any more deals.

Freddy Eastwood - The on/off deal for the Wolves striker finally looks to be off after a row over money the player would still be owed by his current club if he were to leave.

Dean Leacock - With a central defender very much on Chris Coleman's radar, the Derby County man has again been linked with a move.

Glenn Loovens - Cardiff City have turned down bids from two Championship clubs for the Dutchman, one of which is reported to have come from the Ricoh Arena.

Clinton Morrison - City say they are still talking to the Ireland international despite reports that he wants to stay in the London area after leaving Crystal Palace.

Richard Wood - Reports of a bid from Coventry for the Sheffield Wednesday centre-half have been denied at both ends of the deal. Wood was last week appointed as Owls' club captain for the forthcoming season.

Stephen Wright - The former Liverpool and Sunderland man is on trial and looking to be the man to solve City's problem right-back slot.
