Wood City turn to Derby defender?

Wood City turn to Derby defender?

Coventry City's transfer jigsaw is missing a centre-half and a centre-forward at present and reports of a move for former loanee Dean Leacock have resurfaced on Friday.

The Rams would allow the ex-Fulham man to leave as they are searching for a central defender of their own.

'I asked Wigan about Titus (Bramble)' availability as it seems like Paul Scharner is going to sign a new contract, but they would not do a deal,' Derby boss Paul Jewell told the Wigan Evening Post.

'It sounds like they want to keep Titus there too, so I'm now looking elsewhere for reinforcements.'

The Sky Blues have denied making a bid for Richard Wood of Sheffield Wednesday.

Wood is a very consistent player and would want a lot less money

Why would anyone in ther right mind want to sign Titus Bramble! wasn't Derby's defence bad enough last season!
