'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Competition time: Vital Coventry summer clearout!

Over the next few weeks the Vital Coventry editor is emptying out his drawers and offering up some well-worn Sky Blues memorabilia.

First up is the official VHS Season Review for 1988/89, a season when City finished 7th in the old Division One and still managed to attract three league gates of under 12,000 to Highfield Road.

All the goals from the season including some outrageous David Speedie chips and a smattering of Brian Kilcine penalties are there and as the video covers the league season, humiliation in the cup at Sutton is neatly glossed over.

To win the video simply add to the forum thread on this topic with memories of the season and your favourite players of the time with the best post taking the prize!
