'If It's Football, It's Vital'

League Two star linked with City

Dagenham & Redbridge midfielder Glen Southam is being linked with a move to the Ricoh Arena in line with the Sky Blues' drive to bring in hungry players from the lower divisions.

Team-mate Scott Griffiths is also attracting attention, with Reading showing an interest.

'It's natural that clubs are interested in them because they are both top players,' said Daggers number two Terry Harris, quoted on the 'This is Local London' website.

'But to my knowledge there is nothing in these reports.'

Southam has played a key role in Dagenham's rise to the Football League and made 45 league appearances last season.

Don't think he will add much to your midfield somehow.
