Sky Blues seal keeper deal

Carlisle United goalkeeper Kieren Westwood will join Coventry City on Wednesday, becoming the Sky Blues' third signing of the summer.

With a deal for Kasper Schmeichel having looked increasingly unlikely over the past few weeks, Chris Coleman turned his attentions to the 23-year-old, who was named in the League One team of the season for 2007/08.

ace piece of business here. he is an absolute quality keeper and still very young. sure in a few years you will be cashing him in for a very tidy profit to one of the big four. he will be worth 10m in 2-3 years. he was strongly linked with us (blades) very surprised you have managed to get him as i thought he would have wanted to go to a bigger championship club with realistic promotion chances.
