League One duo linked with Sky Blues

Anthony Gerrard of Walsall and Oldham Athletic's Neal Eardley are being linked with Coventry City according to the latest paper talk.

21-year-old former Everton trainee Gerrard and 19-year-old Wales international Eardley would both fit the profile of players the Sky Blues are after at present after the success enjoyed by January signings Scott Dann and Daniel Fox.

Eardley is a great player and incredibly versatile - would love to see him at Vicarage Road in a Watford shirt in truth - free scoring at the back end of the season and is so comfortable on the ball. Coleman's eye for talent impresses me.

Gerrard was linked also with Leeds United last season. I am sure he signed an improved contract with Walsall though?
