Target Eastwood set for Wolves exit
Wolves have admitted their disappointment that the summer signing of Freddy Eastwood from Southend has not worked out.
Coventry City are being linked with a renewed bid for the Wales international after a loan offer was rejected at the last minute earlier in the year.
"Everyone is disappointed that Freddy hasn`t made the impact everyone would have hoped he`d make," Molineux chief executive Jez Moxey told the Express & Star.
"The long and short of it is you employ professional management to run your football side of your business and you`ve got to let them get on with it.'
Chairman Ray Ranson meanwhile is confident that Kasper Schmeichel will move to the Ricoh Arena permanently in the summer.
'We want to sign him and he wants to come,' Ranson told the Telegraph. 'He likes the manager (Chris Coleman) and he likes his style of play.
'We have drawn up a package which, in principle, he is happy with and we just have to agree a fee with Manchester City now.
'He is on Premier League wages but we think he has a great career ahead of him and we think we can agree a package.'
