Coventry City's average home league gate of 19,123 for the 2007/08 season was the 10th highest in the Championship.
Sheffield United led the way with 25,630, a just reward for a pre-season offer that promised cut-price tickets for 2008/09 if the Blades were to be promoted back to the Premier League.
