Stoke reaction

Tony Pulis praised his talisman Liam Lawrence after Stoke City's 2-1 win at Coventry on Saturday.

'He's such a massive player for us,' said the Potters boss after Lawrence's winner.

'He wasn't meant to play today because he's been injured, and the physio said to me before the second half that he didn't think we should take the risk.

'But I was sure we could go on to win the game and at this stage in the season it's only about winning.'
