'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pre-match quotes

Strikers dominate the agenda ahead of Stoke City's trip to Coventry on Saturday.

Potters boss Tony Pulis is set to play Ricardo Fuller alongside loan signing Shola Ameobi and said: 'Shola is a great lad and he's been very good in the dressing room. He's got a smile on his face and is a very positive kid.

'There's been chances that maybe he would have taken if he'd played more football.

'He needs a goal and Ric needs a goal. Once they get one, I'm sure it will set them off.'

The Sky Blues are likely to pair Leon Best and Michael Mifsud after resting the Maltese star last week.

'We wanted to give Michael a rest because he is under a lot of pressure being the top scorer and not having scored for a while, and has been trying too hard if you like,' said Chris Coleman.

'But he went on in the second half and caused a bit of damage. We had a positive response from him.'
