Stoke still in positive mood

Stoke still in positive mood

Stoke City captain Andy Griffin is not downhearted despite his side's recent wobble in the race for promotion.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's trip to face Coventry City he told BBC Radio Stoke: 'You have to focus on the next game.

'We're all deflated after the defeat to Crystal Palace, but we can't feel sorry for ourselves because on Saturday we have to go out and get the three points.

'Let's not forget that we're still only a point off the top of the league, and that's a great position for this football club to be in.'
