Schmeichel makes City switch

Coventry City have agreed a loan deal for long-time target Kasper Schmeichel of Manchester City.

The highly-rated Danish keeper will be having a second spell of the season in the Championship after earlier playing for Cardiff City.

'Kasper has shown this season that he has all the attributes to be a top class Premier League goalkeeper and I have no doubt he will be a very valuable addition to the squad," boss Chris Coleman told Coventry`s official website.

"He has great ability and strength, plus he has age on his side. The future is certainly bright for him.'

Slightly harsh on Marshall I feel if Schmeichel comes straight in on Saturday but a good signing nonetheless.

Kasper would have been good for Argyle. We have NO keeper for Saturday!!
