Fulham duo linked

Fulham defenders Carlos Bocanegra and Dejan Stefanovic are loan targets for Coventry City according to reports on Thursday.

New manager Chris Coleman will inevitably be linked with players from his former club and both players have fallen down the pecking order since Roy Hodgson's arrival at Craven Cottage.

Bocanegra and Stefanovic would certainly bring experience although City's young back line held up well against QPR with Daniel Fox in particular showing himself to be an excellent signing.

QPR boss Luigi de Canio meanwhile praised the Sky Blues' display in Wednesday night's 0-0 draw.

'Coventry forced us to get a draw,' he said.

'I am disappointed but I say congratulations to Coventry.

'It's down to their performance that we were unable to play like we wanted. However, we should and we could have done more.'

They would be both be top siginings, wouldn't surprise me if you got them with Coleman there former coach.

Stefanovic has been a disapointment so far this season, many of us expected more from him, he made many errors for the stiffs on Tuesday V Brum. Bocca however would be an excellent deal for the Sky Blues and i for one would be sorry to see him go. I`m sure i will not be alone in wishing Cookie "good luck" at Coventry.

cheers martin, is Bocanegra a right-back or can he play there? That's our priority position to fill at the moment although Osbourne is giving it his all there.
