QPR warm up in style

Queens Park Rangers visit the Ricoh Arena and Coventry City on Wednesday night and tuned up in fine style on Sunday with a 3-0 win over promotion chasing Stoke City.

Worringly for the Sky Blues they could be in the bottom three by the time the game comes around if Sheffield Wednesday and Preston can take three points from their games on Tuesday.

The Owls are at home to West Brom while Preston travel to Leicester City.

A host of clubs are now involved in the relegation battle in the Championship with the likes of Sheffield United and Southampton being dragged into it by recent poor results.

'This game is a reminder that we are not out of the woods yet,' admitted Blades defender Chris Morgan after his side's defeat by Charlton at the weekend.

Looking forward to this one, QPR play football and I think we play better when we play sides who play football

That should say, watch out.........

Thought we played well today, any team in this division would have struggled against that onslought. Coventry have certainly got a challenge on thier hands if we can repeat that sort of performance. We're so inconsistent on the road, you may just catch us on an all too familiar away day mare!
