Charlton Athletic - have signed highly-rated Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair on loan.

Colchester United - the U's hope Charlton striker Izale McLeod will help keep them in the Championship after signing on loan.

Crystal Palace - transfer listed striker Shefki Kuqi is the subject of interest from elsewhere in the division.

Hull City - Bolton midfielder Mikel Alonso was a no-show for a midweek reserve match after being linked with a move to the KC.

Ipswich Town - David Nugent is set to link up with the Blues next week after a loan deal was agreed with Portsmouth.

Leicester City - the Foxes have snapped up Lee Hendrie from Sheffield United in a loan deal.

Scunthorpe United - the Iron will not be offering deals to Chelsea youngsters Phil Younghusband and James Simmonds.

Sheffield Wednesday - Craig Beattie of West Brom is being linked with a loan move to Hillsborough.

Stoke City - the league leaders have signed centre-half Chris Riggott from Middlesbrough on loan.
