New manager Chris Coleman lavished praise on his Coventry City side after their win over Leicester City on Saturday.
'It was a gutsy performance,' he said.
'They attempted to do what I asked. The work ethic is fantastic, and they are better on the ball than they think.
'What pleased me most was how quickly the players adapted to what I asked in such a short space of time.
'I believe we have the players to move away from the bottom end of the table.'
Opposite number Ian Holloway was left shaking his head over the penalty decision that saw his side go a goal behind.
'I felt the game was ruined by one of the maddest decisions I have ever seen,' he fumed.
'I have seen their centre-forward go through. I have seen my centre-half fouled, and then the referee made a decision no-one could understand.
'I am gob-smacked. It has ruined my weekend, but I will be okay on Monday.'
