Tabb says its time for improvement

With matches running out for Coventry this season it is time that an improvement was made, and this improvement needs a string of wins according to Jay Tabb.

However in order for this Tabb admits that Coventry need their new manager in place as soon as possible, and this is looking highly likely with the expected appointment of Chris Coleman in the next 24 hours or so. When this appointment is made Tabb stressed how imported it is to knuckle down, and knuckle down quickly, he said: "There is going to be a new manager and we are quite lucky that it has been sorted quickly because sometimes it takes months.

"We should have a new manager in place soon and then we can knuckle down.

"There are 14 games to go and they are big matches. We have to win a lot of matches."

He does however feel that Coventry are more than capable of avoiding relegation, as the squad is talented, as was shown earlier in the season and at periods throughout but consistency is just the thing that is lacking, but is now desperately needed, he added: "We have some talented players in this squad and we know we have let ourselves down so far this season even though we have had some good performances.

"There have been too many inconsistent patches throughout the season though and that's why we are sitting where we are."
