Ranson - manager appointment close
Coventry chairman Ray Ranson has confirmed that a managerial appointment is close to be confirmed.
Ranson has said that he is being very thorough which his selection policy but did tell Sky Sports News he expects an appointment to be announced shortly, he said: "We're moving in on things. We've been doing a lot of work and have taken our time but I'm very confident of filling the management chair in the next 48 hours."
Chris Coleman is the strong favourite and is highly likely to be appointed, probably after the vital relegation clash with Sheffield Wednesday tonight.
