City humbled in FA Cup

West Bromwich Albion trounced Coventry City 5-0 in the FA Cup 5th Round on Saturday.

A record Sky Blues attendance at the Ricoh Arena saw a relatively even first-half, with Chris Brunt's goal separating the sides.

Michael Doyle was controversially sent off just after the restart but the Sky Blues cannot claim that as an excuse after gifting Albion the majority of their goals.

Second best throughout, the sending-off looked harsh but not the reason for the defeat.

there is bad and there is 'words fail us'. It was awful and a major let down to all. The chairman should also sack the players and look at his role this week. Going to the dogs, we are already there.

I must be the only fan who thinks the sending off was the turning point in this game, we was still in the game at that point

A lesson in football i say. The sending off did not make a difference, you still would have got a good thumping.
will it ever happen
