Magilton: Dowie axe is 'harsh'

Iain Dowie's close friend, Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton has expressed his surprise at the sacking of the Sky Blues boss.

"That was very harsh,' he said.

'Coventry now have to find a new manager who doesn't know the squad and start all over again.

"It is another manager who has lost his job so we know how precarious it is."

Why cant managers get the time to sort things out. Just look at us Wednesda, we have stuck by Laws after a shocking season. Lost our first 6 games of the season, our worst start ever to a season and now in the bottom three after looking like the play-offs at one stage were possible. Managers need more time simple as that.
will it ever happen
